This tour leads you through the two southern India states – Tamil Nadu “Land of Temples” & Kerala “Welcome to God’s Own Country”. Along with Pondicherry “a legendry French town”. While doing this tour you will visit Chennai; capital city of Tamil Nadu and home to Fort St. George, built in 1644 and now a museum showcasing the city’s roots as a British military garrison and East India Company trading outpost. Further travel to Mahabalipuram; it’s known for its temples and monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th and 8th centuries. Travel to Pondicherry; its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. A seaside promenade runs along the Bay of Bengal. Continue your travel to Tanjore; capital of Chola dynasty visit its 11th-century Brihadeeswarar Temple – complex with a frescoed interior. Tanjore Maratha Palace is home to the centuries-old Saraswathi Mahal Library, with palm-leaf manuscripts. From here travel to Madurai; most ancient city and famous for its Dravidian style temples – Meenakshi Amman Temple. Continue travel to Periyar; the very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. Enjoy the early morning boat ride and spice plantation walk. Further travel to Cochin; “Queen of Arabian Sea”, visits the Old Fort area and enjoys the Kathakali dance show. From here we will travel to Alleppey; the scenic backwaters of Kerala comprise serene stretches of lakes, canals and lagoons located parallel to the coast of the Arabian Sea and are one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The tranquil backwater cruises are a once in a lifetime experience. Tour end at Kovalam; the most amazing sandy beaches, sunbath, relax and enjoy the sea food before fly back to home.

Arrive at Chennai international airport, meet – great with our office representative & transfer to your pre booked hotel. Once you will reach your hotel our representative will handover you the travel documents and explain your entire plan in details.

Morning after breakfast sightseeing tour of Chennai, covering Government Museum, National Art Gallery, Fort St. George, St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica Church also drive pass few important heritage (British time) buildings. Evening walk on Marina Beach.

Day 03: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (surface)
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Mahabalipuram. En-route visit temple town of Kanchipuram. Evening enjoy walking tour at Mahabalipuram beach and market.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram to Pondicherry (surface)
Morning after breakfast visit of Mahabalipuram temples. Later drive by surface to Pondicherry. Evening walk around the Promenade beach.

Morning after breakfast walking tour of French town and visit Shri Arvindo Ashram, Vinayagar Temple, Bharti Park and Raj Niwas from outside.

Day 06: Pondicherry to Tanjore (surface)
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Tanjore. Later visit Brahadeeswara Temple and Tanjore Royal Palace. Also visit the Tanjore Art Gallery.

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Madurai. En-route visit the Trichy’s famous Rock fort Temple.

Early morning shared boat ride at Periyar Lake. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later spice plantation walk & visit the spice market.

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Cochin. Afternoon visit Jewish synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church Chinese fishing net. Evening enjoy the Kathakali dance show.

Morning after breakfast walking tour of Old Fort area and visit flower market. Later drive by surface to Alleppey. On arrival board your houseboat and navigate in backwaters of Kerala.

Morning after breakfast de-board the houseboat and drive by surface to Kovalam. Rest of the day at your leisure at hotel to enjoy the beach destination.
